'Dacers Lane is a street food heaven of Kolkata. It is located near Esplanade, which is the very busiest area of the city and mainly surrounded by offices and other shops. People come to Dacers lane to satisfy their daily hunger. Some of the stalls/shops are very old and having the legendary status. The food they serve I must say is very tasty and the price is also very cheap. 1. The first stall I visited were a stall of Chinese food. The owner\'s name is Bimal Jana, he himself cooks the food. They sell almost all the Indo Chinese food available in Kolkata in a very cheap price. I opted for half plate vegetable fried rice with half chili chicken, which costs me Rs.60 and I must say everything were tasty according to the price point. 2. Chitto Babur Dokan: This is a very famous shop of Dacers Lane and having a heritage of almost 70 years. They sell Chicken Stew, Fish Fry, Egg Devil, Khichuri, Tea and Bread Toast. I tried the Chicken Stew and Fish Fry, both were superb in taste. Chicken Stew costs me Rs.90 and the Fish Fry was Rs.85. 3. Classic Fast Food Centre: This shop maintain a very good hygiene. They sell Indian Veg and Non Veg foods along with Chinese dishes. I tried their Masala Kulcha, which is Rs.10 only and half plate Chicken Bharta which they charge Rs.50. The Bharta needs a special mention with the thick gravy and a very mellow sweet taste. 4. Lastly I visited a sweet shop. Their specialty is various kind of Indian Sweets, Milk, Rabri and Lassi. I tried 100gm of Gajar Ka Halwa, this costs me Rs26 and the taste was extremely good. Lastly I ordered for a glass full of Lassi and the price was Rs.50. The shop owner\'s name is Shyam Sharma.
